Qualifications
- BA in Persian instrument performance (kamāncheh) from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Tehran University, 2001
- Learning the Persian violin from the deceased maestro Samīmī in Farhangkhāneh-ye Māzandarān (Māzandarān community center), 1985
- Learning the classical violin from maestro Roben Thomāsīyān, 1993
- Learning the kamāncheh from maestro Alī-Akbar Shekārchī, 1995
- Starting to play the bass qeychak under the guidance of Sīyāmak Āghā’ī
Activities
- Delivering performances both in Iran and abroad as the kamāncheh player along with the music ensembles Bahār, Rozaneh, Khonya, Āvā-ye Dūst, Orchestr-al-eshrāq, and Tolū‘
- Cooperation with the music ensembles Sāyeh, Rāz, and Ordībehesht as the bass qeychak player in recording and performing music as well as cooperation with the Sīmorgh Orchestra for performing and recording an album with the same title, along with Homāyūn Shajarīyān on vocals and Hamīd Motebassem as the composer.
